For this reason, take up all the armor that God supplies., Then you will be able to take a stand during these evil days. Once you have overcome all obstacles, you will be able to stand your ground. So then, take your stand! Fasten the truth around your waist like a belt. Put on God’s approval as your breastplate. Eph. 6:13-14 (GWT)
I have a word for you from the LORD, TAKE YOUR STAND! If there’s ever a time you must be unbothered about someone else’s opinion about you, it is now, because no one’s opinion can affect the potency of your faith. The truth is, no one’s unbelief can render your faith impotent. That someone doesn’t believe God can turn things around for you, their unbelief, no matter how close the person is to you, cannot affect the potency of your faith. Jesus said in Matt. 9:29, “According to your faith let it be to you.” Our LORD didn’t say according to ‘our faith’ or ‘their faith’, but according to your own faith. This means essentially that, you are not at the mercy of anyone but your own faith.
Have you ever been in a company of people and you heard someone in the group ask, ‘Where do we stand now?’ or ‘What are we saying now?’ I want you to know that when it has to do with your destiny, our stand doesn’t count, it is your own stand that counts, and it is what you are saying that matters most. Therefore, you must declare your stand. The only way you can enforce your rights in redemption is by standing your ground in faith. For instance, Colossians 1:13 says, God has delivered us from the power of darkness; not that He will, He has already delivered us. That is the truth. However, the fact is, you are surrounded by challenges that make it seem as if God’s Word is not true. You must therefore take your stand on the Word of God. Do not succumb to the threats of the enemy, do not retreat in fear, stand your ground on the Word of God, and command every situation to bow to the authority of the Word of God. The enemy will thrust at you that you may fall, he will want to overwhelm you with the seeming realities of the challenges. Don’t fall for it; keep your focus on the truth of God’s Word and stand your ground vehemently until Satan backs out.
PRAYERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, thank You for empowering my faith with Your Word. Today, I take my stand on the Word of God, and I command every situation to bow to the authority of God’s Word. I refuse to give in to fear or the threats of the enemy, I am not moved by what I see or how I feel, I am moved by the Word of God. I believe and I declare that it shall be unto me according to God’s Word in Jesus Mighty Name.
KEEP IN MIND
No one’s unbelief can render your faith impotent.
