There’s this message of Dad Hagin that I have listened to more than 20 times, “HOW TO WRITE YOUR OWN TICKET WITH GOD” – Part 2.

One of the striking stories Dad shared in that message was how he encountered a Methodist preacher on Radio while he was on the sick bed.

The Methodist preacher ran a kind of daily devotional on Radio and taught the Word with clarity.

One day, he was teaching from this New Testament passage.

17 Therefore if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God IN HIM.

Dad Hagin said the Medodist preacher was preaching about our redemptive rights and privileges in Christ and he laid heavy emphasis on verse 21:

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God IN HIM.

Then this Medodist minister made a statement that struck a chord in Dad Hagin, helped him to get off the bed of sickness and also became a major pillar of his “future” teaching ministry.

The statement was, “It will pay you to go through the New Testament as much as possible and get a hold of the scriptures with phrases like, ” IN HIM, IN CHRIST, etc. … into your spirit”.

Whaaatt? That was coming from a Medodist preacher; not a Pentecostal preacher!

That really made a strong impression on Dad Hagin and of course it should make a strong impression on every Pentecostal minister.

That was in 1934, not the year 2021, yet some folks preach and teach as though the older generation(s) knew next to nothing about New Testament fundamentals.

Now think about it friends; New Creation Realities were thoroughly expoused by a Methodist preacher even when what we now call The Word Of Faith Movement had not started.

The lesson is that there’s no denominational restriction to knowledge.

Nobody is a monopoly of knowledge. You can learn from unexpected quarters.

God is not a denominational God; He’s a universal God.

One of my closest friends in ministry is an Anglican priest, a Reverend Canon and we have shared fellowship in the Gospel for over 15 years.

Anyone who wants to go far in life and ministry must be open to learning.

If you follow the ministry of Dad Hagin, then you will realize that he was one of the greatest and strongest advocates of New Creation Realities.

As a matter of fact, he’s regarded as the pioneer and father of The Word Of Faith Movement.

Dad talked about “IN HIM” scriptures at length, yet all of that started with an encounter with a Methodist preacher.

When we open ourselves to learning, beyond the walls and confines of a denomination, then God through His Spirit will accomplish His end-time purpose for the Church.

So if you have ever thought of the greatness of the ministry of Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, that’s one of his secrets.

Following the footsteps of spiritual giants makes us to locate our own path to greatness.

May the Lord help us all!

I hope this made little sense Sirs and Mas?

Much Love!!!
