KEY FOR RECOVERY – Apostle Joshua Talena

(Luke 4:18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord

To recover is to return to normal state of health, mind and strength. Before recovery takes place, something must have taken place. Recover does not just happen, it is caused to happen. It takes the power of the covenant to be emancipated in this world that is full of evil control and manipulation. For every spiritual heavyweight, it was a product of encounter with great revelation. Apostle Pau said “I went up by revelation” (Galatians 2:2). Once you are a habitual eater of God’s Word, the devil cannot toss you around. Your shining is at the mercy of your dwelling in His Word.

Requirements for recovery:

  1. Wisdom. You acquire strength and power when you have wisdom. The right application of knowledge is wisdom. When you find wisdom, you will recover.
  2. Be spiritually loaded: The world is full of power and if you do not understand the language of power, you will be swallowed in the battlefield. It is time for war but you cannot fight the war until you are in possession of your weapon. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal; but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). You must understand that the Word is for your profit (read Proverbs 13:13). You need power for the battle of recovery.
  3. Knowledge. You must have knowledge of who you are. You are a child of the Almighty God. You need knowledge and power to prevail.

Child of God, God put power in everything He created therefore it requires knowledge to be in control (Job 38:12). Locate a Word in the Scripture today.

Meditation: God’s Word precedes the miracles.

RM: Unveiling Christ

Prayer: I release myself under the covenant authority, and I receive the strength to prevail over the battles of life in Jesus name, Amen.
